We're looking for an amazing frontend engineer to help improve the user experience on this website and build new client-facing features. The ideal candidate is skilled at both software development and UI/UX design. ## Example Responsibilities - Ideate, design, and implement new features - Implement a design system for the website - Improve performance, responsiveness, and accessibility - Identify and correct UX issues and errors using PostHog session replays and Sentry error notifications. - Design non-intrusive animations to create delightful user experiences ## Required Qualifications - 1500+ hours of experience writing NextJS, React, and Typescript code (cumulatively). - Courses, Certifications, or Formal Work Experience in UI/UX design. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and why they exist. - Available to start full-time around January 20th, 2025. - Based in India or Nepal. ## Preferred Qualifications - Have built something before that has had >20 active users. - Deep knowledge of Performance, Responsive Web Design, Accessibility, Server-Side Rendering, and/or SEO. - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, ShadcnUI, NextAuth.js, Redux, PostHog, Sentry, Cookies, DOM manipulation, Session Handling, Cookies, Cache Handling, and Security best practices. - Significant prior experience using Figma (or similar software). - Experience with animations, interaction design, and understanding of user psychology. - Some prior experience with full-stack web development (REST APIs, NodeJS, MongoDB, deployment etc.). ## What we offer - **Impact:** As an early member of our team, you will be working on things that directly affect users and the product's success. We're looking for a versatile Full-Stack Engineer to take charge of all aspects of our web app's development. ## Example Responsibilities - Implement full-stack features like Search, File Uploads and Authentication - Design and maintain API routes & MongoDB database schemas - Handle server deployment on AWS EC2 instance and client deployment on Vercel - Setup Automated Email Funnels to improve retention - Setup automated testing & logging infrastructure ## Required Qualifications - 1500+ hours of experience working with full-stack web development technologies (eg: Typescript, NodeJS, AWS EC2, MongoDB, DNS handling, SSL certificates etc). - 500+ hours of experience with NextJS, React, and Vercel deployments. - Has independently built and deployed a complex full-stack web app. - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and why they exist. - Available to start around January 20th, 2025. - Based in India or Nepal. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Sentry, PostHog, Anthropic API, prompt engineering, NextAuth, Tailwind CSS, ShadcnUI, Redux, Zod, Resend, AWS SES, Cron Jobs, Docker and other web-related technologies. - Experience building a viral twitter bot. - Accepted contributions to open source projects. ## What we offer - **Impact:** As an early member of our team, you will be working on things that directly affect users and the product's success.
