A digital version of Cashflow 2.0

Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad Poor Dad) has a game called Cashflow which aims to interactively teach key aspects about how money, debt, income etc work. The game has two versions. The first version is available online (https://www.richdad.com/products/cashflow-classic) and I thought it was very helpful in showing how money works. There’s a second part to it, but it currently only exists as a physical board game. One can attempt to make a digital version of it. Would greatly increase the amount of people who benefit from that game.

There are some potential legal complications with copyright. One can work around that though, by creating a prototype, then reaching out to Kiyosaki’s organisation and seeking permission to launch. One can potentially create a deal with them (give them a percentage of the revenue) or offer to sell the product to them entirely. Worst case scenario, if they don’t agree, you can simply rebrand the game, modify aspects of it and launch it as a related (but different) product.

Progress so far: Preliminary survey of related existing work & of target audience’s interest
Source of Idea:
I played Cashflow 1.0 several times and wanted to try its sequel, but the board game was not available in my country and I couldn’t find a digital version of it.
